Our Story/Design

Welcome to C.K. Advent Houses, where we make the countdown to your favorite holidays unforgettable. We’ve always believed that the best moments happen when family gathers around something beautiful. For us, C.K. Advent Houses is where our two great passions meet: Kimberly loves to decorate and bring holiday magic to life, while Craig loves to build and create with his hands.


Our family-run shop grew out of a deep love for October chills and December
thrills. We believe the anticipation of a holiday is just as magical as the day itself,
but we couldn't find advent calendars that felt like keepsakes. That is why we
started creating heirloom-quality Halloween and Christmas advent calendar
houses.

Eleven years ago we started this business in hopes of enriching others of two of
our favorite holidays. As we spent endless hours drawing out and creating mock-ups
to perfect what we have now.

Each house is designed with intricate detail to become a centerpiece in your
home year after year. Whether you are counting down to spooky season or
waiting for Santa, our houses bring families together to create daily moments of joy.

Upon our design's completion, family and friend's reactions to the advent house
were so positive and heartwarming.
After posting pictures of the completed design on the Internet, it connected us
with others who share a love for Christmas. It became clear that we were not the
only people obsessed with the idea of having an Advent House. There were
more. Many more. As requests to build one for other families grew, we decided
the time was right.

Which brings us to today. We are honored to bring this Christmas Advent House to you, who will forever be part of our extended family.
